There's a million ways to teach that all lead to the same thing. The ‘Road to Tango Renaissance’ can be viewed as a bridge between the Golden Age and the future ‘Modern Era of Tango’.

It is my hope that the ‘Modern Era of Tango’ will encompass evolution in many academic & artistic pursuits, as well as social and political change.

The Full Tango Cycle in Brief...

Here is the full tango cycle as I see it in simple terms:

The simple answer is Cristina!

The long answer is that a mutual friend of ours, Michelle Wright, will often comment when we dance together, that my shirts smell like fresh laundry. This is assuming that I have not totally drenched the shirt in sweat, in which case the fresh scent is replaced by a multitude of human and other aromatics. The reason for the fresh scent is the fact that Cristina loves to do our laundry on a very regular basis and she has a secret technique which makes the clothes smell amazing. I've tried to watch (i.e. steal) and replicate her technique but to no avail. That makes my laundry responsibility relegated to "Laundry Boy" duties which include carrying the laundry basket and loading the washer and dryer cycles. Also, I'm fairly skilled at putting quarters in our laundry room machines and pushing the corresponding buttons to set and start the wash/dry cycles...

So that's it really! Fresh Laundry represents all things Homer & Cristina very nicely.

However, if you must also have a tango answer, acquiring a domain name that reflects us and tango while also making folks stop and think for a moment or maybe laugh was irresistible to me. Philosophically speaking (that's the Greek side of me) it's interesting to counter all the new and old tango styles with something very personal that really doesn't mean more than what it represents (i.e. Homer & Cristina & Tango).

I better stop philosophizing before I get carried away...

Hopes this helps clarify my Fresh Laundry Tango intentions? Hugs, Homer ;)

Welcome to Fresh Laundry Tango

Hello everyone, welcome to our personal info site.
